Tana has been producing theatre for over 16 years. She is the co-founder and artistic director of Dirt [contained] Theatre Company, which makes provocative, socially conscious theatre with an absurd twist, and the Associate Artistic Director for Stripped Scripts, (4 Innovative Theater Award Nominations, Winner For “Best Revival Of A Play” 2019, Stupid Fucking Bird.)

Producing credits include Crushing Baby Animals, Garden Of Delights, Easy Laughter, The Last Eden and The Chairs under Dirt [contained] Theatre Company, The NYC Premiere of Painted Alice (LIC-A), Stupid Fucking Bird (Stripped Scripts), Seascape With Sharks And Dancer (Strangers At Home Theatre Co), and Alice In Wonderland (Ethereal Pants Productions).

Tana is a co-founder of Culture Lab LIC — an arts and culture center in NYC. Over the past seven years, the non-profit arts organization has produced hundreds of interdisciplinary performances. As Performing Arts Director, Tana was responsible for managing and programming all of the live performance taking place throughout Culture Lab LIC’s three gallery spaces, 90 seat theatre, and outdoor venue from 2016-2022. She created Culture Lab LIC’s Emergence Residency Program, which provides artists of all disciplines free rehearsal/performance space, tech support and mentorship.

Tana holds a Masters of Science in Creative Arts & Mental Health from Queen Mary University of London, where she focused on the importance of devised theatre in relation to mental wellness and social change. She is passionate about supporting emerging artists making original, ambitious and diverse work in an environment where they feel valued and celebrated.
